Keep On Fighting

There are multiple reasons why the colonists were right to fight for their independence from King George the 3rd. Three of them are too many taxes, Boston's blocked harbor, and no one to represent them in Parliament.
First, the king gave too many taxes. He taxed them on paper, almanacs, playing cards, and later tea. This was unfair to the colonists because they were all something they would normally use.
Then, the king blocked Boston Harbor so nothing could get in and out. That put people out of jobs, food, cloth, and necessary supplies.
Last, the king said that they couldn't have any one at Parliament to represent them. This was unfair to the colonists because they couldn't have anyone talk about their concerns.
In conclusion, many things were unfair to the colonists. Imagine what life would be like if they hadn't fought.
