Skillfully avoiding the guards' slumbering bodies, an elderly woman was sneaking away from the castle under the cover of darkness. As soon as she got to the forest, she broke into a run because she did not want to be caught stealing the princess. Soon, she came to a secret entrance to a clearing with a tower she had learned about when she was a child. She locked the baby princess in the tower and raised the princess, whom she named Rapunzel, to think she was her mother. Since Rapunzel had magic hair, her “mother” could get whatever she wanted, which just happened to be her youth. But, if Rapunzel’s hair was cut, its power was instantly lost. Growing up in the tower wasn’t so bad, except for having to hoist her mother up the tower with her long hair every day. Rapunzel was happy. Her sixteenth birthday was coming up, and Rapunzel wanted just one thing, to leave the tower. But sadly, her mother refused
Suddenly, a young boy came along and immediately spotted the conspicuous tower. Upon hearing the woman enter the clearing, he dove into a bush. Because he watched the woman climb up Rapunzel’s hair, he knew there was someone, likely a girl, up in that tower. Soon the lady left. The boy seized his chance and called to her. Rapunzel, although she didn’t recognize the voice, dropped her hair rope and let him up. While climbing up the rope, the boy started to wonder what the girl was like. when he reached the top, his jaw dropped. Standing before him was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen.
Rapunzel quickly fell in love with the boy, and the two continued to meet in secret. Talking casually, the boy mentioned the lost princess. Suddenly, it hit him. this girl, who just happened to be imprisoned in an isolated tower, was as old as the lost princess would be. Hurriedly, he told her that she was the lost princess. Because Rapunzel had never left the tower before, it took a while to get her used to the idea of leaving. After much persuasion, Rapunzel finally agreed to escape. The King and Queen happily welcomed their lost princess and the boy married Rapunzel. Their honeymoon was a trip to the salon.
